From jeeps that flew to tanks that shouldn’t—an entertaining look at unusual military inventions that failed despite being innovative. Intended to inform, amuse and delight, this luncheon talk will not only demonstrate how technology sometimes leads us astray but will have you shaking your head, wondering: “What in the world were they thinking?” The 35-minute talk will be lavishly illustrated with photos and film clips. Since this event is hosted by the San Francisco branch of the Naval Order of the United States, reservations/tickets are required.
